Sunsoft Consulting is a boutique software consultancy based in Avalon Beach, Sydney. We work with two kinds of clients: medical device companies navigating regulatory compliance, and small to medium businesses that need better software.

Many of our business clients come to us after a frustrating experience with a larger provider — left with software they don't fully understand and no one to explain it. We take a different approach. Paul McBryde brings 24 years of software experience with a strong foundation: Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and a Master of Biomedical Engineering with first class honours. He has led projects across regulatory compliance, custom software, and data-driven automation for medical device companies and high-quality businesses. A proven expert in software integration and risk management, Paul’s focus is calm, measured consultation grounded in deep technical skill and regulatory knowledge.

Katie McBryde — Business Manager

Katie McBryde integrates two decades of high-level laboratory and quality management experience with a strategic background in technical sales. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, she applies a rigorous, analytical framework to project delivery and client relations. Katie is dedicated to ensuring Sunsoft provides the clarity and operational excellence required for business-critical software solutions, leveraging her deep expertise in precision and compliance to drive client success.
